King of the castle

Cuddled up with me, the little lady slept well last night.  She may have tossed and turned a bit but to be able to comfort her in bed, without walking around and singing to her was a major milestone for me.  It's amazing.  Just two nights sleeping in the same bed with her, without Mama, and I feel as though we've bonded on a totally new level.  It's an amazing feeling to know that I can comfort her!

On the way back up to Edinburgh, we stopped off at my brother's house in Ripon.  Seeing four of them run around was a bit chaotic but it was great to see the wee man cuddle his cousin Alfie.
