Allgäuer Alps

1400m high at Hoernle, looking across at the Allgäuer Alps which are about another 500m higher. Had fun getting up there as we'd planned on talking the ski lift and didn't have any walking boots. Most folk we met were dressed for alpine hiking, we were dressed for walking to the pub!
We were a bit nackered after that so just lazed about in the afternoon, then we took S's mum out for dinner to (for us) a new place in Murnau. It was good but I could have done without reversing into a dirty great boulder in the car park, one of a few strategically placed out of sight. Mmmm.
