Going up

Super quick update as I have a date with Star Wars Episode 7* and a great need to not be in bed too late. And one of my typing thumbs is under plaster due to careless chopping and one finger typing is very slow.

There is really only news from the boy anyway...and it is another step along the way. Good appointment at Great Ormond Street Hospital today. As we kind of expected the specialist wants to do more tests, including a 24hour one so he can be monitored every 2 hours so he will need to go in for one or two days. He seems pretty chilled with the whole thing, he liked the doctor and I think is happier that there seems to be a definite thing to be working with rather than the extremes of either total vagueness or misplaced certainty we have had to date. It was a bit grim for him today as a)being talked about in front of you is obviously horrible and b)hearing it all over again reminds him of everything and makes him feel sad but it was a new doctor so a necessary evil. He has now decided it is an interesting life story though and he seems kind of happy about that. Though not as much as his delight at having grown more and being only 10cm shorter than Carl. Anyway, we can hopefully get the tests done in the next few weeks and we will hopefully be another step closer to the end. Or the start of some normality at least. Though there was a lot of heated discussion around Star Wars which pretty much counts as normal.

Oh, and no he's not wild about being my blip but there's too little of him these days so I told him we have to take what we can.
