daffodil....

....the only one in my yard that's just about ready to open up! Most of the others  still haven't even come out of their coverings, & more than likely they'll all start opening as soon as we're gone!
We're planning on leaving early Wednesday morning to begin our drive down to Gainesville, Florida for the 3rd. annual Band of Blippers Blipmeet which is Friday eve. through Mon. a.m., & are anxiously watching the weather. There are terrible storms moving toward the mid central & southern states--all areas that we have to drive through--the storms are dropping huge chunks of hail, with high winds and high potential for tornados, so we sure don't want to be driving through that!  We'll keep watching to see where it's heading, and we may have to adjust our route a bit, which would most certainly take a much longer time to get there. Hopefully it will all blow past fairly quickly and be gone before we come through those areas!  Keep your fingers crossed!!  :)
