A change of Blip
After a lovely weekend on Dartmoor I had decided that my blip for the day would be of the rolling hills of the south moor when we met this group of students and their tutor from Birmingham University who were working on a flight simulator for a Chinook helicopter using a drone to fly over Fox Tor mire taking a video film of the terrain that would incorporated into the programme. After politely asking if we minded then carrying on their work, they went on to kindly demonstrate the flying capabilities of the drone for me to photograph.
It produced very little noise even when standing close and when flown by one of the students is showed the wonderful work this machine is capable of when used in the proper way.
