Work in progress

Nearly fifty years after our formation, my WI has now decided to have a banner, as do many WIs. I am part of a small team at this early stage. The basic fabric is dark green and the embroidered panels will be on light turquoise. I am tasked with doing the lettering and have had several trial runs as I work out the lettering style and the stitches to be used. We have now reached the stage when we can bring in those members who are keen to be involved.
We are excited at the challenge but also aware that our work will be on show for all to see.
