Flowering Houseplant

One of my obsessions is a continual interest in blossoms
of any kind.  I have had many different houseplants and
some have bloomed, but I never have had a Croton send
out a flower spike.  I have been following the progress
of this one and am utterly charmed by it. Maybe I should
pretend to be a bug and see if I can cross-pollenate
some of those tiny puffballs of bloom.  All I would need
is a tiny brush.....I will try it!  Stay tuned.
