Recuperating

Mia had one of her seizures this morning. She was resting on the couch, when suddenly she raced out of the room into the kitchen, through the cat flap and out under the back fence. I rushed after her and heard her seizing , rushed back in for shoes and a towel and climbed through scratchy bushes to find her and bring her inside.
Post seizure she is very thirsty and hungry, she miaows a lot and has to go around the house refamiliarising herself with it. Then she usually rests. This is what she is doing in the photo. She is on medication twice daily at the highest dose she can get for her weight. All it can do is reduce the frequency of the seizures.
