Sentokun

At Nara station of Kintetsu line, this mascot is waiting for tourists. Some tourists enjoy taking pictures with him.

Such a kind of mascot have spread all over Japan, and some of them gained popularity.

But as I have no interest about it, can not understand why they are so popular.

If I had enough time in Nara, I would like to see not Sentokun but deer. In Nara park, you can find many deers demanding crackers to tourists.
