River Recon

Checking out another kayaking waterway since yesterday's adventure was such a success.

This is the Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River. It is renowned as one of the most challenging kayaking waterways in Alabama during the spring rainy season with several Class III and IV rapids.

Looks rather tame in this drought period we are suffering now.
