T'URSDAY NICHT...

Funny kind of night...

Left work sharpish as I had an extremely important appointment at 5.45pm - had to go and see a man about an eyebrow job...!!!

Now I know that some people go for drives in their cars for no apparent reason - just for the hell of it - or due to boredom or summat - and this is something I never ever do - so tonight, I decided to go for a big drive about in my car... it was most enjoyable and really gave me some valuable head clearing time.

I then descended upon my good friend Ann Marie... you might remember that we sat one Saturday afternoon in January and revamped her cv until it was sooper dooper - so she could get out of insurance, where she had been working for 11 years... well she got a new job (out of insurance) wthin 5 weeks and she starts on Monday!! So wanted to check how she was doing etc etc...

As is to be expected, she is nervous and excited and happy all at the same time!!

Incidentally, this blip was taken this morning around 8.30am.

Just as I stepped out of the front door to go to work, I was left breathless and awestruck by the powerful morning sun illuminating the wetness of the street... of course, as is usually the case in such moments, I did not have my camera to hand - so I dived back indoors to grab it and took 6 swift snaps...
