Mono Monday - A New Beginning

I haven't joined in on the Mono Monday's for awhile, but it has been such a dull old day and spent most of it inside finishing some judging. Saw the title for MM and remembered that there were 3 new Black Swan Cygnets down on the lake...new beginnings, although feel a little concerned that they have come so late in the season. Thanks to davidc for hosting.

There was bird life everywhere so have included some in the extras. Our resident blue heron was prowling around by the stream, and rather annoyed to see that there were 14 Canadian Geese swimming around as well. They are such a pest and we do try and keep them out of the bay. The other extra is another of the swans and their cygnets, if you look closely you will see one of them climbing up on mum for a ride.

It turned into a very pleasant little walk.
