Frankenstein

A cultured evening featuring a trip to the cinema to see the National Theatre live and Danny Boyle's production of Frankenstein. Johnny Lee Miller as Creature and Benedict Cumberbatch as Frankenstein and a fantastic set made for a great show. To be honest, I wasn't convinced as to how it would be - was it filmed from a static viewpoint in the audience, what would the sound be like...etc. All that was blown away as the first shot swooped down from the back of the theatre to the stage, and the beautiful lighting rig kicked in to start the show off.

That we were sat in our usual place, with a glass of red didn't hurt either.
