Brightening a grey day

Rain. Gales. Grey skies. The only way I could brighten the day was by wearing my sparkly bright pink scarf. And noticing that the days are drawing out. Sunset was two minutes past eight tonight - so mid-evening before the grey turned to black and we could justifiably draw the curtains and shut out the miserable weather. Oh, and pour a glass of wine.
