A View from the South Downs

We set off after lunch, stopping to pick up two Norfolk friends on the way, and then on to Lewes to spend the weekend with our friends D. and A. in Sussex. It was lovely to see them and they made us all feel so welcome, even in the midst of their house having an extension built. A fair amount of tea was drunk on arrival and we had supper together and offered some assistance with emptying a bottle of rather fine gin.
We didn't actually get out for a walk that evening but this is a view from the South Downs that I took over the weekend. I hope cheating is allowed once in a while...
