Homeless

Homelessness is visibly very much on the rise. In Cambridge and London it definitely is. It's incredibly sad that whatever decisions are taken on society's behalf means that people are falling outside of the safety net at an increasing rate. This government says it cares about 'working families' but I firmly believe that it cannot relate to or bring itself to fully support those people who need a well resourced welfare state to avoid ending up like the people in the picture, for whatever reasons they find themselves needing help. I will never vote for a government where I perceive these attitudes.

Until we have a change in government it makes the small acts that we can all do, such as buying some food and a hot drink for someone cold on the street, very worthwhile gestures.
