The New Mr and Mrs Roberts

What a fantastic day, An early start for the Weston family as we had to get to Leyland for 12:30. It was a beautiful service and Alf was fairly well behaved and enjoyed the hymns. I was feeling quite emotional as the first hymn was the hymn we sang at our wedding. After the service we had a drive up to Eaves Hall. The most spectacular venue without being stuffy it was just wow. You can tell Laura is well rehearsed at organising events as not a detail was missed. We checked into our room and settled into the lounge for a glass of prosecco and Alf had a feed. We wandered out onto the grounds and took a few sneaky pics of the bride and groom before the wedding breakfast. The speeches were heartfelt and were a wonderful start to the afternoon. We watched the grand national and Tom was very excited to have backed the winner Rule The World. We assumed he was just excited about the money he had won at odds of 50/1 but in a twist of fate it actually was the title of the song they had chosen as their first dance and actually had only bet on the horse because of that. A beautiful day for a beautiful pair. Laura was just stunning and looked like a model. I wish you all the luck and love for you both in the future. CONGRATULATIONS.
