Frantic pace, moderated place

This is the almost winning team.  Annie (of Annie and Chris fame), Reg, the car and me.

We started in Essex, ended in Essex, via Hertfordshire, and covered about 20 UK counties in between, all in 14 hours.

We also saw 4 UK breweries and 4 pubs, we pushed started the car 6 times and were chased off a farmer's land.......and grabbed about 30 minutes sleep on the move!!

We were technically awarded 3rd place, but as were deducted one point for having more than two in our car and we lost out on one point as a pub we were looking for had changed its name we like to think we achieved the same as last year's First.  

Well, we would think that wouldn't we!!

A fab 24 hours, though I am now thoroughly knackered !!
