10 became 5
Had some things to complete at work so worked on a bit later
Before heading for the train I walked around Whitecross Street.
Without the people I noticed the new street art. I suspect that I will be blipping more of it. This is one of the 2012 Olympic Mascots - Mandeville, inspired by the Buckinghamshire town of Stoke Mandeville, where the Paralympics were founded - the other one is Wenlock, named after the Shropshire town of Much Wenlock that helped inspire Pierre de Coubertin to launch the modern Olympics
The 10 coach train was only 5, so I have stood all the way home. Try that in high heels and fishnets. I've got sore toes again
But at least everyone kept their shoes on

The thing that made me smile: as Master flash is redesigning the front of my bike he needed a new brake cable. I offered to pick it up at lunchtime. I was assured that I only needed to know that I wanted a brake cable for a road bike. So I went it to the local bike shop and confidently placed my order. He then asked me if I wanted an "inner" one or an "outer". Thinking quickly I remembered the phrase "as I started to rethread the cable it was fraying". Inner I replied. And I got it right.
Exercise: does standing for 60 minutes count?
Footnote: My photo of yesterday made it to the spotlight. I haven't been there for a while so thank you
PS I've just sat on my revamped road bike without my padded knickers on. Ow that hurts
