I met this inspiring man on my river walk this morning. He's wheelchair bound. He and his carer were happily painting in the sunshine : almost warm for the first time today. He cheerily told me he knows he can't paint, but it will remind of the scene later and that's what he values. I was impressed. The extra's are double daffs, that have just started flowering and an Amalanchier, newly planted near the cathedral, coming into flower for first time.
