Bluebell time

They are later this year, but none the less beautiful for that.  Often there have been yellow tip butterflies around this area with the gorgeous English bluebells, but it's far too cold for them just yet.

If you live in Staffordshire, the Woodland Trust managed area, Pipe Hall Farm, with the wonderful Jubilee Wood, is well worth a visit over the next three weeks or so. The bluebells at the bottom of the hill are well in bloom and the ones higher up the hill will not be far behind.

No tea and cakes here - but it is free, unspoilt and magnificent.
