........off his face.............

Didn't blip yesterday.......didn't do much of anything........total couldn't be arsed day............don't know why............followed by the strangest night..........awake three times between midnight and 5.10............woke up speaking to Helen twice........had a real nightmare about the upcoming wedding.

Today has been better............mainly because one thing made me smile and two things made me laugh out loud.

I laughed out loud because the Daughter brought home some new toys for the cats........including two mice with feathers for tails, felt noses and ears and filled with cat nip.......this is Loki....within 5 minutes of getting his mouse he had ripped the tail, nose and ears off and was hurling himself all round the room in sheer ecstasy. Keo was more circumspect......she licked her mouse and drooled over it so  much that within a few minutes it was soaked through!

I smiled because my bet on the Grand National came in second.......the winnings are slightly more than the total of the three bets I placed.....so at least I get my money back.

I laughed out loud because Hannah. marching purposely into the living room tripped over her own feet...........and as she hit the ground shouted at us, "Not funny, no laugh"..........which set us all off.

Maybe I'll sleep better tonight.
