Proud!

Mr HF has just made his first ever cake.....Mascarpone Cheese and Blackberry Madeira cake. Cant wait to sample it!

This isn't to say he doesn't know his way around the kitchen.  He's a master at making perfect poached eggs and has always happily cooked a meal, but he has been inspired to bake by his very talented son, who is going through a Gennaro Contaldo phase (which we enjoyed the spoils of at Easter).  Long may the Moore Men's culinary capers continue!!!
