The South Bank
I had a great day out in London.
Had lunch with an old friend from uni, she was one of my housemates when we were in halls. We haven't seen each other other for 3 years but as with all great friends it was like it had only been yesterday. Our walk around the shops after Wagamamas (we're huge fans!) showed us that maybe we are getting to old for some shops. Why are all t-shirts cropped at the moment? We did both fall in love with Oasis' collection of London inspired clothing. Out of our price range at the moment but there are always the sales to look forward to.
As it was such a nice sunny day I decided to go for a walk before heading back to Kent. I walked along the South Bank which is one of my favourite places in London during the summer. It is full of life. This was one of my favourite buskers, everytime he blew his tuba(?) a flame came out the top. Being in London got me in the Olympic spirit especially the rings on Tower Bridge.
Edited to say thank you to the RSPB for giving me the opportunity to see a peregrine on the Tate Modern .
I love London! (only for a holiday though)
