Natural History Museum: Staircase

Back blip.
This is the back staircase up to the Cryptogamic Herbarium...
I don't know why I find staircases so satisfying, but there is something about the continuity of the handrail, and the various geometric shapes that make up the stairs and stairwell that just appeals.

Another low-key HDR: the stairwell is really rather dark, and the windows were very bright, so my single exposure shots had little detail around the windows or in the less directly lit parts of the stairwell...
