NRM - The Flying Scotsman

Up and almost at 'em to catch the park and ride to the a Railway Museum.

This was The Boy's request as he was very happy when we came to the panto here in January and could have spent longer wandering round. He can remember seeing the Flying Scotsman in pieces in the workshop with his Grumpsy!

We decided not to queue for 1hr+ for a talk on the footplate but enjoyed wandering around. Smallest enjoyed waving at trains coming in and out of York station - highlight there was seeing the Virgin Battle of Britain commemorative engine go by.

Home via WagaMamas and retail therapy at the designer centre. I now have an M&S 'cool technology' nightie that promises to revolutionise my life. None stop excitement.
