Fiery Sunset

Fabulous day out at a collectors' plant fair, yes I did more than my "fair" share of “collecting” that included an eclectic mix of fruit, cottage perennials, bromeliads, vegies and a couple of air plants, so tomorrow will be a busy day in the garden.
 
Decided to take a leisurely walk along the river before driving home, guess they were hazard reduction burning as the air was quite thick with smoke. 
 

Took this shot of a fire & rescue chopper that had just taken off from the other side of the river, a little bit eerie as the sun was setting and there was a fiery glow through the trees.
