Looks like rain on the horizon

Up early this morning to bike to work. Light enough to be a nice ride but it was cold. I arranged to have a parcel delivered today as J is working from home. I’m sure the delivery drivers wait till you go out and then leave a card as J only left the house for 30 minutes to walk Kilda and that’s when they decided to arrive. The new kitchen bin has arrived though. J ordered it as it taller than the last one and more Kilda proof. It’s a self opening one as well. Cycle home was OK until the last 10Km when the heavens opened. Glad I decided to buy some waterproof trousers, as they were a lifesaver. Stopped to take a quick snap of the horizon showing more rain coming over Cramond Prom to soak me still further.  Got back and phoned Dad as he had an exploratory op today to see what is wrong with his heart. Seems the tricuspid valve in his ventricle is leaking slightly. Now just has to wait to get an appointment with the consultant to see what sort of op they are going to do. Took some photos of Kilda’s lower canines for the dental vet as we are meant to be going to see them next week to see if Kilda needs another op. They do look OK so fingers crossed. Popped out the pub to meet RD and FM for drinks and ended up coming back late.
