Late Spring Snow

All day yesterday a late-spring snowstorm hit us.
With this morning's sun, we found five inches
of fresh, new snow.  It is truly March weather and
I am sure the birds with nestbuilding dreams are
scratching their head. The pond has frozen over
with the exception of a small circle of bubbling water.
Yes, the temperature has dropped way below zero
once again!  Do you hear me wailing and gnashing
my teeth.

Ah but a new day with promising sun awaits!
