Night sky

Because this is my last weekend living at this end of the Island I spent today in Nelson, saying goodbye to various friends.  

Driving home the moon was the slimmest sickle in the sky and I decided that I'd photograph it when I got home.  Sadly it was lower in the sky than I realised and by the time I got home it was completely blocked by the hills.

So I had to create my own night sky with a feather and flash.
