River Forth In Spate
It rained a lot today - amber warning from the met office which usually just signals a damp day, but always seems to send the media into a piss my pants frenzy. There were flood alerts for Stirling and the Council are handing out sandbags, but I think it'll be OK. The river was a brown churny thing though - like the trousers of those living alongside it. This shot was taken at Stirling Bridge a few hours after the rain had passed its peak. The weather man says an improving picture from here and we might see a summer after all...
