Y is for Yakking...

and that's just how we spent the day!

This is my dear friend Kari on the left, and we are toasting seeing each other after 7 months! She relocated to Tennessee for her husband's job, and she came back to visit family in Michigan. Happily, she had a free afternoon to hang out on our deck and sip a little wine with me! And just as happily we got rain and had to have a light on in the middle of the afternoon!

It was great having nothing to do but catch up with each other's lives. It's funny how with some people it's as if the time gap never happened...we started right where we finished last year. Lots of memories and love between us that will always be there.

My wish for all of you is that you have a friend like Kari.

I'm sad that the alphaponty alphabet challenge is almost over...I have so enjoyed doing it and seeing what other blippers have come up with for the challenge....I'll just have to start looking for a new one....I guess.
