Aspens out the kitchen window

The first day of a short last ski trip of the season. We are staying at a small resort on the east side of the Sierras just down the mountain from Carson Pass. There are aspens all around us. This has been the best snow season in the last five years. The snow is starting to melt fast here at 7000 feet as the days warm up.
