Surprises

A few weeks ago I saw somewhere, possibly Facebook, that the Royal Shakespeare company are traveling around theatres performing A Midsummer Night's Dream with local amateur dramatic groups. And they were at The Blackpool Grand Theatre for a week.

So I grabbed tickets for Fenner, Mia and myself. Then completely forgot about it, only remembering late last night. Fenner would away on business so I asked my mum to join us.

It has been the perfect anecdote to a rather busy day at work. And lovely to spend time with mum and Mia.

An added surprise to the evening was to find that we were actually seated next to Fenner's first wife (and family). How can you even begin to calculate the odds of this happening?

Lovely evening, the play was so much fun and all the actors were fabulous.
