Flower Friday: Cowslips and Skylarks

Sorry, I can't do skylarks today - you can't hear them in a picture and I had a macro lens with me, not a telephoto! 

They were there though, on Selsley Common; skylarks in their droves (or perhaps flocks), singing their hearts out. It was glorious. I can offer you an early cowslip though. Later, the common will be covered in them, but for now only one or two are braving the wind that comes up and off the Severn estuary.

And riding Morrigan back home I passed a fellow on a Ducati by the side of the road. I stopped and checked he was ok - he was - and he said "not many like us old school bikers nowadays". Old school, that's me. :-)
