Wow!

There is a saying about the early bird catching the worm, well this bird just about missed out this morning. Had been awake for half and hour and when I did get up at 6.30 and looked out the window I couldn't believe my eyes. The colour was so vivid, something we seldom see here.
So dragged some trackies and a sweatshirt on, my camera and just ran down to the lake. It only last for 5 minutes but really breathtaking stuff.

Must get dinner organised as neighbours are coming later to watch the Chiefs playing the Auckland Blues...we are a house of Chiefs supporters so hoping for a good game.
