Valletta Again

As we didn't have much time yesterday, we decided to return to Valletta again, this time by bus.

We were up and out for 10am, but the first bus that came was heaving with people, so we got on the second one.  We still had to stand for the first half of the journey though.  We finally arrived just before midday, and as it was trying to rain, we decided to head down to the military fort to see the history of the island over the years.  This was a half finished exhibition, but we still enjoyed looking around it.

From there we went through to the lower gardens, then found some toasties for lunch at a cafe.  We then spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around Valletta, finally managing to pick up some souvenirs from our trip. We headed back just after 6pm and arrived back at the hotel at 7.45pm.

We then just had time to get changed before heading back out to a band meal at the Imperial Band Club.
