Eastgates Coffee house

Another one of Leicester coffee houses dating back to 1877 and designed by Edward Burgess.

When I started working in Leicester 18 years ago it was a very dilapidated looking building with rotting fascia and painted bright blue
.
The new owners decided to restore it back to its former glory. It took a while but they've done a terrific job. Think Mr. Burgess would be quite pleased with it.
