Now and Then

The paper today had a photograph from past times which I thought I could replicate. In fact I found I could not get to quite the same place without climbing over the fence on to the railway line.

Unlike my previous "Now and Then" pictures where there was almost no change, in these photographs the scene has changed out of all recognition apart from Union Bridge itself.

The weather remained dry most of the day, though there is a shower as I write. We even had a little sunshine.
