Is That Level

Spent another day helping prepare the tower for the bells. Today's task was to tighten up the 350 bolts which held the frame together. The bell frame sits on top of this then the bells are hung from that.

After the last bolt was tighten we checked with the spirit level which you see in the front of the photo. Spot on. Tomorrow they will concrete the pockets that the girders are sitting in.

The first of the bells should go in on Tuesday next week

In the meantime it is back to the day job for me.
