It's a mystery?

My daughter bought me this jigsaw from a charity shop to go with the super dooper folding jigsaw board to do it on.
 It was a tad challenging as there was no picture to follow and on top of that you were supposed to deduct who the murderer was.
I'm still figuring that out!
