Shawn the Sheep

Well I'm sure most of you will have heard of Shawn the sheep, well, meet 'Shorn Sue' :-)

Today I bit the bullet and had all my hair chopped off, not that is was very long...but now it's quite short!!! Ive not had it this short for the last 20+ years!!

As you can see from this shot, the pile of hair, sitting on an old England flag, covering the lounge carpet this morning, whilst our hairdresser worked her magic:-/

I thought the hair, the flag and the base of one of our kitchen stools constituted an abstract for today's challenge ;-)

I've been whining on for weeks about my hair getting on my wick, so today was the day!
Much shorter, slightly darker colour, with low lights..........think I'm going to like it, just need to wash it and see how it is once I've done it myself! Fortunately I'm not bad at doing my own hair.

We are off out for a meal before the quiz tonight, which is quite nice, although we are both tired, as daughters flight was delayed last night, so it was 1am by the time hub came back, then we chatted and couldn't get off to sleep! It was 2.30 or thereabouts when we did get to sleep only to be woken up by the binmen at 8am :-/

Don't think it will be a late night tonight somehow.......plus we need to be up and out sharpish in the morning for Mo's funeral......a sad day :-(
