Jinotega

Spent the day in the dreamy little town of Jinotega in Nicaragua.  Surrounded by mountains (see extra) and famous as one of the world's best coffee growing regions, this is a gorgeous area.  Had afternoon coffee at Soppexcca, a cooperative of coffee farmers who have as their mission "To create a business organization focused on social and environmental responsibility and local participation."  

The vendor in this photo was selling freshly cut papaya near the bus station.
