A Long Day

I had to take my sister to the local hospital this morning for a procedure she needs before she can begin dialysis.  We were scheduled to appear at 10:00, and we arrived around 9:45.  After she was all dolled up in her glamourous johnny coat and anti-skid socks, the nurse came in to tell us there had been an emergency that the surgeon had to attend to before he could deal with us.  Long story short, I sat with my sister in the hospital prep room until just after 2:00 when they finally wheeled her off.  I then sat and stared at the clock on the wall until they returned her, and waited until she was awake enough to dress and be discharged.  I didn't get home until 5:30 this evening!  I'm beat, and this is the best I could do for blip today.  A clock face ... a bit like the one I stared at for 7 hours or so today.
