Weather front
I have a cold and as usual it is making my asthma a little excitable, so I took the decision to go for a flat walk to help the old lungs out! So off went Reggie and I in the car to Harecroft to walk along the viaduct. As we have had frequent heavy rain and hail showers all day I was suitably dressed with waterproofs but I didn't take my mittens. As I braked to park the car told me there was a risk of ice, and sure enough before we'd even got 100 yards we had a white out of snow and the most freezing cold blustery wind. I sheltered behind a tree for 5 minutes, throwing sticks and then as the worst blew over headed toward the viaduct. It was so windy it was almost impossible to walk so we didn't get far before we turned back. This shot was taken looking over towards Harden and quite clearly shows the weather front passing over.
My hands were so cold the were hurting and got even worse as they warmed through in the car. Sadly it didn't seem to have cleared my head out either, though at least I can't smell wet dog.
Mr H is in the NE doing some decorating for my mum and dad, he said it had been quite a nice day, and had a walk along the sea front this evening! I am just hoping summer comes soon as I have had enough of the dreariness, and am longing for some sunshine and warmth.
