Mother and baby

Today D and I went to the Cotswold's Farm Park to celebrate our anniversary. It was a breezy day with some April showers. We had a fantastic time at the Park. Highlights included lots of little baby animals including crazy piglets and naughty kids (baby goats), holding a chick, having lunch with Adam (from Country File. It's his farm and he showed up to eat sandwiches and soup. He did sit with someone else and he seemed very happy but I'm sure he wanted to join us). Then we witnessed a live birth of a lamb. Something very special (and slightly disgusting).

We tried to have stop for tea twice on the way home. We aborted the plan twice as well due to a variety of reasons. Finally we made it to Bread and Co for a delicious tea and cake. Plus two free cakes to take home. Third times a charm, as they say!

It's been a lovely day.
