Renovation

The University wanted to knock down all the beautiful buildings like this around George Square to carpet the area with modernist horrors like Appleton Tower. AT has been shedding its small finishing tiles like dandruff over the years so they're now re-cladding it at further great expense. Why they don't  just knock it down, I don't know. 

Miss L took me to her favourite Thai restaurant nearby then passed an audition to play her violin in the band for a musical theatre production she had spurned. My role in the  evening was to driver her to the violin lesson where she broke the news to her teacher that she'd be off to America in September.
