Wild Wednesday: Fire in the Tyre
So I went out at lunch time to get some photos for my blip today and remembered the ruins of Temple Church (I love a church and a ruin!). Temple Church was ruined by bombs in the 40's but where must ruined buildings were demolished, Temple Church was found to be too important to the heritage of Bristol and was reinforced instead. The old wonky church is now obscured by lots of other buildings and has a rather lovely lean to it.
The church is now relegated to extras as around 8.15pm the house became engulfed (I'm being dramatic) in black smoke and on investigation I found that some tyres at the back of a disused warehouse had been set on fire by some fool. The blaze got quite high, and was very exciting for all of us nosy neighbours in lane. Emergency services were quick to get the blaze under control before any great damage was caused.
Lesson of the Day: Always remember to change all of your clocks, otherwise you may miss your first training webinar while faffing around editing photographs!
