Storms rising over the Cotswolds.
Busy day today, apart from the continuing painting project (as our drill instructors used to say "If it moves Salute It, if it doesn't move Paint It").
Picked up Daniel early to take him to the railway station for his business trip to London and then on to Cheltenham Mazda (Bristol St Motors) for it's annual service. I've got a service contract paid monthly so it's quite painless.
Had a replacement car booked so when the service manager gave me the keys to the Fiat Panda and said I might notice a bit of a change from the MX-5 I said "It's OK, just like a Travelodge, OK for a day or two" so cars like the panda will always be 'Travelodge cars to me from now on.
This photo was taken in the afternoon driving back to Cheltenham. I'd left Gloucester in heavy rain, drove into Sunshine but could see all of this looking over the Cotswolds and heading in our direction. Yes, it was as bad as it looks when it hit us.
