Wild Wednesday

Rain was battering the bedroom windows when I woke this morning........very dark and extremely windy!!

We didn't rush to get up, had a cuppa in bed ;-)
Once we were up, I wanted to get out for a walk, to stretch my legs after yesterday's Pilates. The weather had brightened a little, so off we went.

Got a few bits and bobs, called in for a coffee, sat chatting for a while, before walking.......no actually, getting blown home!!

I whipped up some coronation chicken for a late lunch then we had an hours R & R before going off to daughters house, to wait in for her grocery delivery......a 5-7 slot. They are due back from Cape Verde later tonight, hub is going to pick them up at the airport...so it will be a late night for us ;-)

We had a late dinner, pan fried haddock with capers lemon and butter, thin French fries and mushy peas.....mmmmmm;-)

During this afternoon I was watching the hailstorm out of the patio windows, then a couple of birds picking at the moss on the lawn...which is so boggy!!! I noticed how the wind was bending next doors trees and thought it might be a good contribution for Wild Wednesday..........well the wind has been pretty wild here today :-) you can also see my poor white camelia, with the affect effects of all this b****y rain :-(

It's a pretty naff shot, I know......but it's all I have for you for today :-/
